Hello and Happy Friday from Literacy Connexus everyone! I hope this blog post finds everyone happy, healthy, and ready for back to school. *GASP*. Can y’all believe that back-to-school and the fall semester is right around the corner already? This summer has just flown by!
Since the fall semester is right around the corner, I wanted to share a great resource from TESOL. TESOL has curated a set of Back-to-School resources for English language teaching, that are perfect for preparing for the fall.
Some of their featured resources include: teaching writing online, encouraging communication with seating arrangements, and task-based language teaching. To check out the TESOL Resource Center click the link here.
TESOL also has a blog with blog posts on topics such as: virtual activities for the first week of school, pathways to a culturally responsive virtual classroom, and ways to support families of multilingual learners. To check out the TESOL Blog click here.
Last, but definitely not least, TESOL has crafted a newsletter that features articles and useful resources for ESL teachers. To subscribe, click here.
All in all, I think there’s a little something for everyone on this website. Whether you’re teaching in person or virtually this fall, the resources that TESOL has crafted could be a wonderful resource for you.
Until next time, blessings and happy teaching!
