Basic ESL Training for New ESL Teachers of Adult Students

Registration is limited, so training may be closed BEFORE that date.

1. your name, as you wish on name tag & certificate
2. your email & phone number
3. your city of residence
4. the name of church or organization & city where plan to teach
5. if already teaching ESL, what level of students

Individuals must register for themselves. Register online.

Leadership may not reserve spots for their volunteers.

You’ll receive a confirmation email upon receipt of your registration.

You aren’t registered until you receive this confirmation email.

Because the majority of Texas ESL adult students in church ministries are beginners, the emphasis is on teaching that level. Due to time allotted for this training, references to higher levels will be limited but many of the same techniques used for beginners are also appropriate for the higher levels. Higher-level teachers who have never attended a basic workshop will benefit from this training.
